I guess they are calling it an "extended slump."

Hope he gets out of it soon.
Trying to snap out of it: Jerry Stackhouse still can't shake the slump that has beset him. Over the last 14 games, he has shot 53-of-164 (32.3 percent) from the field, including 0-for-6 on Thursday against Golden State. The dry spell has dropped his season shooting percentage to .385. He's shot 19 per- cent on 3-pointers during the drought.

Yeah, I agree; I cringe every time he puts up a perimeter shot (I thought he was a slasher). Another case of a guy who's game is to go to the basket, and when things start going cold, he forgets who he is.

Finley used to do the same thing.
A big part of his game was his athletic ablity and now that he's getting slower and older he's turning into a Jump shooter... only problem is he doesn't make em.

He's had a pretty great season, best sixth man I can think of...and now, with just a month to go before playoffs, he forgets everything...I just want him to be ready for playoffs...

..Mike Miller?
yea I got miller for 6th man he's more consistent this year and played more games I believe
he just needs to be reminded everytime down the court he needs to attack the basket and draw the foul...yeah hes slower then before but still gets the calls...
Stackhouse thought he was the man in this game as well. Dirk should be getting the ball at the end of games. Stackhouse also makes poor decisions when to pass and the turnovers late in the game against Detroit cost us the game. Avery is starting to frustrate me. He should be getting into Stackhouse's face. Dirk is doing what it needs to be done but Stackhouse has his own agenda.

How can you blame the game on Stack? He kept that game close. He was a freakin' hero lastnight.
