before we attempt any blockbuster trades like curry/jc for t-mac, for one it gives us another half year to evaluate our rosters, and see moer clearly just exactly where those kids are heading, also with the JC siatuation, since we can match any offers, theres really no need to trade him now, if he continues to be like that the rest of the season, hes not goiong to get a good offer on the market thus we have the option to sign him cheap if we think hes a keeper, if we trade him now, its very possible that he could blossom into a star somewhere else. same goes with curry, we still have him under contract for 1.5 years and we can still match any offers at summer of 05. but the real reason we wait until the season is over is that we will have wide range of options then, lets say if we keep losing the rest of the season, and end up with a high lottery pick, then we will have better ideas of who to trade, if theres a big man avaiable for us in the draft, then we could give up either chandler/curry , or a guard is aviable, then jc is expandable. on the other side, if we dont get a high pick, what does that mean??? we probably played awesome during the second half of the season-.- and sneak into the playoffs!!(wishful thinking).

for those who say we should trade them now while their values are still relatively high, but i think the chance of curry/jc geting worse the rest of the reason is pretty slim. if anything, their values will skyrock at teh end of the season, just like last year's summer, we could have gotten virtually anyone (excluding the obvious certain ones like duncan, shaq, etc...but garnett was definitely a possibility) with an offer package of jc/curry+pick. actually if we did indeed offer the wolves curry+jay willaims(befoer injury)+pick , the wolves would probably do it.

bottom line, just play out the season and evaluate it at the end of the season cause then we will have a moer clearer pictuer of where this team is heading, and keep our options open.
