Crazy schemes that once they get established make him the best coach in the game?

Interesting comparison. If the Nets go all the way it could be accurate.
What's so crazy about Frank's "schemes"?

I think he means his defensive schemes and help rotations.

There's nothing particularly innovative about the Nets defensive system.

I think Frank's an excellent defensive coach, but he isn't coming up with anything new here.

Frank runs lots of complicated sets and uses lots of different looks to take advantage of different mismatches. Which he is very good at exploiting. Why all the sets might not be new, because of the sheer amount of different sets it takes a long time to get all the players on the same page. But when every finally does they become a very dominate team, as we are seeing.
After the Nets lost Kittles and Martin, no one thought they had the personnel to be the top defensive team in the league. Credit should definitely go to Frank for persevering with the defense-first philosophy.
