Is Jason Williams underated?

No, not by Heat fans, but by the rest of the NBA? Think back to August when we made the trade, the two name's that were brought as people that would kill the team were 'Toine and Jwill. I never really got why people thought that about Jason, but this year he has been doing great. And idk about you, but I think he's up there with Shaq and Wade in terms of importance to our team's success. I can think of times when D. Wade and Diesel were either hurt or not playing well, and Jason stepped up. 13ppg and 5apg are the two things that stick out too me, and his .453% from the field, and his almost automatic .871 from the line, do as well.

All year long he has been down right impressive. And in a way, its a downside to be on a team with Shaq, Wade and Riles who all make national headlines, while Jwill is kind of like the offensive line: he gets the work done and doesnt take the credit(no knock on Pat, Shaq and Flash.) Jason will be a huge factor in this team's system if we want to make it to the finals, and right now I don't think there's any other guard combo(not named Hamilton-Billups) that could run with Jwill and D. Wade.

yeah, is it me or has anyone noticed GP's play latley has not been so solid...
i always saw him as one of the top PGs in the NBA. Hes having career numbers and he gives us another playmaker on the court. Hes a huge upgrade from Damon Jones for sure. Hes able to create his own shot. Im glad to see him do ok in the Heats system. he seems so much more comfortable now comapared to the beginning of the season.

Does he deserve more credit? yes

but i dont think thats of importance right now....this team is really looking forward to a championship

most of our guys have been in cruise control at times.

Sure, we might see some inconsistency from our players now....but come playoff time, i think these guys are gonna be pumped up. Wait till playoffs to see the real Heat colors.

GP, Shaq, Zo, and Riles....those four will be our source of motivation in the playoffs. They've seen the playoffs more times than Wade has seen 30+ point games.....well, you get the point....
I hope he is underrated by the rest of the league. Most of us know him as our 3rd option that can hit the 3 consistantly, and can be very very clutch in crunch time. JWill has been nothing short of fantastic for us in his role this season and he's gonna be huge for us in the playoffs. If the NBA doesn't know that now, they will soon enough.
J-Will's gonna make some serious noise in the playoffs. His catch and shoot and his 3 off the dribble are nasty weapons...
yes he is underrated.......but at times, he seems completely overrated...

just not consistant all the time yet
Rated exactly where he should be. Average starting point guard.
He's scoring at career high efficiency this year. The only knock, though drastically improved from his earlier years, is his shot selection. When he decides to get into the paint he's virtually unstoppable with his quickness and sick handles. When he decides to take pull-up 27 footers, he annoys the crap out of me.

But in general, he's been great this year. If not underrated as a player, I think his effect on the Heat's record is underrated.
JWill tonight: 21 PTS, 9 AST, 6 REB, 3 STL, 0 TOs.

He still takes those 3-point shots in transition, and you're like wtf, but they go in so noone complains.
