Is there any hope for them getting into the playoffs if Donald Sterling is still their owner. The Clippers are the most exciting team in Basketball and Sterling is going to break that up this year. They had a chance to get Baron Davis and Sterling nixxed the deal. And now, he might not sign Olowokandi or Brand. Although I do agree that Olowokandi does not deserve the max, the Clippers should still offer him a lot of money. Brand definetly deserves the max and if the Clippers don't give it to him and let him go, than you just better kiss away there future. Than, they draft two PFs in the draft. What were they thinking?

I think the GM needs aproval from the owner as well. It depends tho, eh? If the owner is not cheap and gives full power to his GM, then he gets to do whatever he wants.

I'm not really a Clippers fan but this cat called Sterling is really pissing the living hell out of me! :upset:

I give all my condolences to the Clips fans because you have such a young great team that it's sad you have such a cheap president. :(

There is always *hope* that the Clips can make the playoffs even with their *cheap* pwner. They did it with Danny Manning, Ron Harper, kenny Norman, Michael Jackson, & Stanley Roberts, hot plate williams, Loy Vaught, & Kiki in 92/93 and they took Houston to 5 in that first round.
They also made it the year before that and took Utah to 5 in the first round, when they had Manning, Harper, Charles Smith, Kenny Norman, Doc Rivers, & Olden Polynice.

So, don't give up on your hope, Clip fans.
