After taking a little while to learn the offense and get comfortable with his new team, Jeff McInnis has looked tremendous the last couple of games. Not only has his shooting improved, but he seems to be running the offense extremely efficiently. Getting past his defender and drawing a double team has been a common occurence when the ball is in Jeff's hands, which usually ends with him kicking it to an open teammate or creating his own shot. He brings a completely different look to the PG position than J. Kidd, and I think he will prove to be invaluable as the season progresses. Also, he seems to be hustling on the defensive end and really harassing his man. Hopefully he keeps that up.
On the Njnets.com poll in the off-season where it asked who was the Nets most important offseason pickup, I constantly voted for Marc Jackson, because of our obvious need for big men. I was wrong.
