Is there any chance he could slip out of the top three?

If Exum is "reportedly number one on many boards", I'd say there's a chance. With that being said, if the top three was Wiggins/Parker/Exum is whatever order, would you draft Embid if you were the Magic? If they decide they really want Smart, and the Jazz pass up on him because of Favors/Kanter, how great would it be for the Celtics to snatch him at 6?

No

He is going #1
I love your persistence of this since I prefer Wiggins in Milwaukee, but it seems to me like nobody has an real solid info right now and the top 3 guys are being shuffled around daily... its maddening for a fan of a team in the mix

You'd put money on the decisions of that Cleveland office?
People bring up last years draft, but its not like anyone outside of MCDubs and Oladipo have looked like anything more than fringe starters, and they already have Kyrie and Waiters. They picked a big man and so far struck out.

But yea, you're probably right. Relying on Cleveland to make the right pick is probably a mistake. Gilbert is probably sitting there saying "**** it, if this doesn't pan out we'll get another 1st overall in a year or two."

I don't know about Cleveland but I'm sure if Embid is on the board Bucks take him without any hesitation. They already have their future SF in Greek Freak. Embid is still a project but they can wait for him even 3 years.

Bucks need an arena plan in place by 2017, they need instant impact.

If it was just Bennett, I wouldn't ride them.

Seriously, since 2011 they could have put together a a core of Kyrie,
Victor Oladipo, Andre Drummond and Jonas Valanciunas. I haven't even cherry picked the best players from the individual drafts, I've picked players that were the obvious choices for their team.

Instead they have Kyrie, Tristan Thompson, Anthony Bennett and Dion Waiters.

If they take Embild and he busts, just holy shit at the past 4 years for this franchise...

Hindsight is 20/20. The Raptors are another team that passed on Drummond. So did the Bobcats, Kings and Warriors. Are MKG, Thomas Robinson, Harrison Barnes or Terrence Ross better than Waiters?

Obviously Waiters and Irving don't mesh and they need to make a trade. But compared to other teams draft records in recent drafts, the only real bad pick seems to be Bennett, but as I said they couldn't have taken Oladipo or Carter Williams because of who they already have on the team.

I don't even know what I'm arguing. The Cavaliers aren't good drafters. The problem is, most perennial lotto teams aren't, that's why they're always there.

As a Celtics fan, I couldn't be happier. I hope he drops to 6 and then experiences a rapid and full recovery.
