just for the sake of argument... Why not Pierce

ok first off id like to say the pierce in my username has nothing to do with paul pierce so dont think im some biased celtics fan.

but why not??? ive heard alot of pierce being place just below t mac and kobe, but i dont see why, i think he just made the leap up to their levelk this year. he is arguably the best scorer of the three, third in the league(and he has a very good second option too) he shoots 40% from behind the arc, gets to the rim at will, rebounds as well as tmac does, dishes out a bout 1 assist less per game, and is an excellent defender. also has proven to be a clutch performer late in games. so i ask why not?

FYI KOBE WAS NUMBER 1 FOURTH QUARTER PLAYER IN THE PLAYOFFS,PIERCE WAS SECOND AND TRACY MGRADY WAS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND.

Yeah, maybe cause T-Mac only played in 4 games! Mcgrady is better than both of them. He will put this argument to rest next season.

Kobe often makes dumb mistakes in the clutch. Like dribble it off his foot and travel and **** like that. In game 7 Kobe was not clutch. It was Shaq making all the big shots:yes:

The main reason is because as Malikian said, he is not a very flashy player. He relies on fundamentals, mainly his excellent athletisism, basketball smarts, and shooting skills. I'm not saying this because I'm a Celts fan, I still personally think Tracy McGrady is the better player, but I definitly think he doesn't get near enough credit as he should.

Pierce led the league in 4th quarter points...where was Kobe and TMac? Look at what pierce did after Walker ripped him a new *** in I believe it was game 3 of the Eastern Conf. Finals....Also game 5 of the 1st round against the defending easter Conf. Champs Pierce drops 45pts.. Ok Kobe has 3 rings and shooting for #4 but w/o the BIG FELLA Kobe aint got 1. Put almost any real good swingman on that team instead of Kobe and they still would have 3 rings..... In TMac's defense though Pierce has Walker, Kobe has Shaq, and we'll see about TMac this year when GHill comes back healthy(hopefully). If his numbers go up or stay the same and they win more games then I have the Lineup as so.......................Pierce,TMac,Kobe!!!

I really like Pierce alot, and even though he isn't flashy, he has one of the most polished offensive games in the league, and is one of the most exciting players to watch.

And believe me, I am a Celtics fan, so you know what I think of T-Mac when I say I think hes the better player than Pierce. By a little, a very, very little bit.

Like the space between Janet Jackson's T.... Never mind
