6-10 Kevin Lyde from Temple will play for Nets summer league team. I think he has a great chance to make the team. He has great size and good touch around the basket and great rebounder. I was surprised he wasnt drafted. Dont the Knicks need size??? Why couldnt Layden invite this guy for summer league team??? :upset:

What position does he play and where'd you hear about him getting some burn on the summer team..
Realistically, there aren't that many spots that can be won on the team during summer camp, with so many players with guaranteed contracts.
I hope that Tamar Slay makes the team. He's tall, ultra-athletic, and can shoot.
However, because there are two exciting prospects on their summer-league team in Slay and Lyde, I think it's looking more likely that they might not pick up the option on Scalabrine's contract, and keep both of them.
