Eric Chenowith is a not very good player, but he played very well in the NBDL last season, and he will get a second chance with the Knicks. I sure hope he will make the team, the Knicks need centers badly.

I think he was compared to Doleac on NBAdraft.net, lol.

Question: if the Knicks wanted to sign Chenowith or someone else on their summer league roster to a contract, would they have to use their exception on that player or is the exception only used for free agents in the NBA?

Good question, but I believe that if you draft a player, you have their rights, thus no, we would not have to use our exception on Chens, because he is technically our property.
