He must have heard that some people were thinking about not voting for him for MVP.

Kobe's gotten "injured" about 30 times this year. He is master of writhing on the floor for a minute, having Stu Lantz crap his pants, and then getting up in dramatic fashion.

But yes, he's been shooting the lights out. Monta Ellis not exactly what you think of when you think Kobe Stoppers.

LeBron and Dirk aren't the only ones making MVP statements.

Kobe has 30 at the half, and is averaging 43.5 points per game (on 53%) in April so far.

kobe is amazing....HE IS THE NBA MVP FOR THIS SEASON. no doubt about it. if he doesn't win, it is ridiculous.

on a side note. kwame playing great so far-double double at the half...12 rebounds, 11 points, and Lamar playing a great all round game...now he has 11 points, 10 rebs, 8 assists after 4 mins in the half.

INSANE STATS.....GO LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lamar's gonna trump him if he gets a Triple-D in less then 30 minutes of play.

at his size though it almnost looks like Oliver Miller out there But he does look alot better than what he did when he first came back.

Him and LeBron are both bonnafide NINJA ASSASINS.

Kobe is simply the best player in the world right now with LeBron and Dirk right on his heels. Those are the only 3 legit MVP canidates and even after saying that I look at Dwayne Wade's numbers and wonder how he can fly under the radar.

This was a wonderful start to the next golden age of NBA basketball and for some reason I don't think either Detroit or San Antonio will be the last team standing but I will save that for my NBA playoff preview.

I agree on everything, especially on the San Antonio/Detroit tip. Though not many would agree with us. I have a strong feeling that the Cavs are gonna bust some heads in the playoffs in the East.

kobe scores 30 in a half everyone saying he is the best in the world, definately mvp, crime if he doesn't win. this isn't hating on kobe but i find it funny saying he is the mvp in this case, when lamar basically got a triple double in first half, and kwame got 11-12 as well. he's hardly a one man army tonight
