Depends man, T-Mac chokes when it counts but Peny wannbe is proven he can take a scrub team to playoff contender but Kobe? The sidekick of the century who gets his points here and there. lol, watch the finals, Kobe forced some drives and dunk which aren't necessary at all! Man, don't force things, no matter what you do, you are a good sidekick!

It's really hard to compare the two because we dont know what Kobe can do by himself. Without Shaq you have to think Kobe is taking at least 9 more shot attempts per game. Which means more points.

As of now I have to give T-MAC the upper edge. Without T-Mac the Magic wont win more the 15 in a season. Without Kobe LA is still a playoff team.

There's no question they are the top 2 guards/forward in the league. The only person who is near their talent level is Vince and who knows what he's gonna do with a good ankle next season.

But no doubt im pickin (T-MAC) over kobe.

Its just like the curiosity of what kind of coach Phil Jackson is. How good is Kobe without Shaq? How good of a coach would Jackson be with a ridiulosuly stacked roster. Has he even coached a team that was above average? Dont think he has even coached a team that was above average only elite. never mind a mediocre or a bad team.

well, jackson refused to coach the nets and kobe refused to play for the nets when the nets were, um, not good. so, i think that might say something about how sure they are of themselves.

Kobe Bryant has been a player that is more clutch then any other but that's because you can see it in his eyes he wants it more then any other, he's the golden boy of the NBA and I respect him as much as I hate his guts.

I'd take T-Mac not only because he plays for my team the Orlando Magic but because like many others have mentioned can lead a team and is actually the better overall players. How many guards can pull around 1+ steal, 6-7+ rebounds plus 26-27 points per game which goes up to 30+ to the playoffs? I don't think you could have asked for more. He lead the East all alone in the All-Star game and had the play of the day if you wanna mention Kobe won the all-star game MVP. Had the East won, T-Mac would have been the MVP, mind you.

Well, it was Paul's first experience in the playoffs. Remember, Kobe struggled at first too(airball against Utah). It takes awhile to build up playoff savy.

Pierce is more talented IMO....

yeah, I remember those shots fondly. I am no real fan of Kobe's. Hehehe

Still, i think he wasa rokkie at the time, straight outta HS.

Currently I believe that Kobe is a better payer than Pierce, as much as I hate him.

Of course, it's just my opinion and we'll agree to disagree on it.

Cheers
Brett :)

Toss up

I think at this point T-mac and Kobe are so close in skill and game play, that its a toss up.

In a close game I'll give it to Kobe just because some players just have that nack for winning. Although T-mac will take the big shot too.

T-mac is more efficient and if he's hot that night he'll make his 30+ points...

Kobe throws up a lot more shots but to me that just shows he's more aggressive and like I said.. in a close game the aggressor wins.

But both are great players.

I'd take TMac as slightly over Kobe. I think TMac loafs on defense some times, but when facing a challenge he is better than Kobe at both ends.
