Who would win? T-mac has more height, Kobe can create shots better, both can dunk. They are very similar. I say Kobe would win.

Everyone here, this topic maybe old to many of you however if you find this thread annoyed, you can pretty much ignore it but please respect each others here.

back to this topic, imo, Kobe is the better offensive player right now, but I like Tracy all-around game nite in and nite out.
I will take Kobe right now because he is proven he can hit clutch shots on a consistent basis at least under single coverage.
I would want Tracy if I want a Mr. Everything on my team to team up with a scoring option like Kobe, Carter and Ivy.

Some people have a mind-set that almost any "good" or "great" player can look good on a bad team, but I contend that it is harder to be an all around player on a bad team because of the following:
1)You won't look as good in the assists department because your "bad team" is not consistent in hitting their shots due to nobody being doubled and having to create more (which a bad team usually lacks - creative scorers!!) than just hit a wide open shot.
2)You won't look good for the long haul on a bad team because as an all around player, you'll be doing a little of everything to try to make your team at the least - competitive.
3)Defense is always a problem on a bad team, so an all around player will be overlooked for his own good defense because people look at wins/losses more than they look at individual defense. The fans will look at individual offense, but almost never defense.
4)You'll never look as good as a great player on a great team because you do not possess what other great players on a great team have -
another scoring option who demands a double or triple team, leaving them free to either create for themselves or their teammates!
So, for those above reasons, I would now say that it is impossible to judge who is truly better between Kobe and TMac.
