The organization remains confused as they have yet to hear from Artsyom Savitski since he was drafted in the early 2nd round.

I don't know what it is, but I'm feeling fresh and rejuvenated here tonight
We've got a sextet of international rookies, with three or four lotto maybes
SF Lu Tianshu (Tianjin Gold Lions/China)
C Amin Admasu (Mitteldeutscher BC/Ethiopia)
C Alessandro Poma (Olimpia Milano/Italy)
PG Collins Ayodi (Ezzahra Sports/Kenya)
SG Jowin Iwanek (Rosa Radom/Poland)
SF Ciprian Nedelcu (CSM Oradea/Romania)
Don't envision any contract/buyout issues here

Lu Tianshu - years of CBA experience have prepped Lu for KVBL jump
Still not too much of a looker on offense, but that's not where he earns his money
Great athlete who can be disruptive, get extra chances for his team
Role should be similar to a guy like Arnason; not sure how much growth potential
Expects to go early, bottom of lotto is probably worst case

Alessandro Poma - a lot of scouts' favorite of this bunch
Big and fast with a shooter's touch, built for certain KVBL teams
Tendency to hang outside the arc limits offensive rebounds, but solid on other end
Takes care of the ball, will be defensively viable on day one
A lot to like here, which has him projected at various spots in the top five

Collins Ayodi - could be a top three pick if 2019 Draft goes like 2018's
At just 19, existing skillset bodes very well for a long KVBL career
No highlight reel passes, but steady and smart with the ball
A couple of years of KVBL experience should help his defense
Where he goes depends if you think he's close to ceiling or not...anywhere in first half of 1st possible

Ciprian Nedelcu - young kid could leave certain teams smitten after workouts
Doesn't really seem to have a killer instinct out there
...and yet, he's one of those guys who seems to be right place, right time
Definitely needs to grow, but seems well worth a stash
Less of a win now guy, but potential could see him go as high as lotto

Four new faces from abroad...let's see where they end up
PG Otávio Ferraz (Bauru/Brazil)
SG Thibaut Peisson (Valencia Basket/France)
PF Saeid Farajzadeh (Paris-Levallois/Iran)
PG Daniel Trinidad (Baskonia/Spain)
No contract issues among this group, so we should see 'em in November

Otávio Ferraz - this guy's extremely polarizing and looks like a boom or bust type
Ferraz is a competent three point shooter, but mostly a nonfactor when it comes to scoring
Freakishly athletic, Ferraz is an elite offensive rebounder and shotblocker
As a defender, Ferraz could be a game changer
Those who think his D way outweighs his lack of O see Ferraz as a top ten pick

Thibaut Peisson - Peisson is perfectly competent, but he's not close to being an impact player yet
Thibaut will do his job and play within the offense, but that's about it
Defensively, Peisson is pretty good at cutting off penetration
Teams in need of wing prospects might take a shot with him
In this type of draft, Thibaut seems likely to go late where his low salary will make him a palatable stash

Saeid Farajzadeh - two big skills will ensure job security for Saeid
Farajzadeh will be an elite rebounder in the KVBL on day one
While he's a nonfactor on offense, Saeid counters that with strong man defense
A bit more shotblocking would be nice, but the issues are definitely mostly on offense
Elite skills should make Farajzadeh a lotto pick, but he could fall as teams aim for more star potential

Daniel Trinidad - has streaks of good play, but shrinks against tough competition
There's enough of a base skillset here to hope for an eventual offensive explosion
Defensively not quite ready for primetime, will get a steal or two
Bit subpar as a rebounder
At 22 and with a less than elite set of skills, Trinidad is likely to go in the back half of round one
