The bidding is closed. So, it looks like the ring is sold. My question is how in the hell are these guys selling championship rings for just over 100K ? I mean are they that stranded for cash ? Doesn't Coop have a job with Sparks already ?

Thats what I thought too. I guess they must not be paying him enough.

Maybe the ring wasn't sold by Cooper and someone else got it somehow? I can see someone like Mike Penberthy who hasn't earned that much money selling his ring for over a 100k, but then again Coop did play in the 80s when the salaries were much lower. Just compare that ring to last years. The 1980s one only had one diamond! They be bling-blinging now!
