Byron Scott- former laker, friend of Kobe, coaches Nets, has titles.

Kurt Rambis-Scrub from the old Lakers, but has experience.

Micheal Cooper- Coaches the LA Sparks, used to play for lakers, preaches defense

Only time will tell....

I'd like to see Byron Scott next...I've heard that he may come to LA after Phil Jackson is done and his contract is up.

if phil retires in two years or so, rambis with the exact same assistant coaches and same system would be nice...

if phil goes someplace else and his assistants go or are forced to leave and we need a new system I'd pick cooper or scott...

Rambis!!!??? I guess you didn't read Shaq's book. Rambis made the team divide into Kobe vs. Shaq. He favored Kobe all of the time, and let him do whatever he wanted, which wasn't good for a 20 year old up and coming superstar.

Shaq said that Rambis was better as an assistant coach than a head coach. We need Byron Scott after Phil Jackson. If Magic Johnson becomes the Lakers head coach, he needs to be an assistant coach first.

I picked other, cause I want Scott to stick with the Nets.
