What a bold move by the Laker's front office. They acquired a good back up PG.

The L.A. Lakers deepened their bench even further today by signing Bulls free agent A.J. Guyton, ESPN.com is reporting. While terms were not disclosed it is suspected that the contract will be for the league minimum.

I wonder how much the Lakers signed him for. I guess as long as he is cheap it was a good deal.

why is it a bold move? its not like they traded to get him or took any chances... that would be like Richmond being a bold move...

I saw him play in college and he was a short pure shooter and he saw llimited minutes in Chicago so i don't kno if he can play PG but with a backcourt consisting of Kobe, Fishy, Rush, Shaw, Geroge can also play 2 i don't see how he would get more minutes than Richmond last year. Phil loves them tall guards too so i see Shaw being the backup PG especially with his exp.

Bold move?... no risks at all, come on
