Those are some damn nice numbers...its sad he wont play tho :(...If he could help put up numbers like that in the game...im sure theyd consider a full time contract...but as Brian34cook said...He wont play...he'll ride the bench

Well if you think about it thats the BEST idea..then the coach has a clue of what kind of player hes working with and he will remeber who he had some chemistry with on the court if he decides the play the player

Is he a keeper?

Now that we got to see him in critical minutes last night against the Cavs, the question is, "Do the Lakers sign him for the remainder of the season?"

I thought he did very well last night, hit some pressure FT's and moved well without the ball in his limited time. If there is a roster spot open, keep him.

I wouldnt... just a waste of money, they have no future plans to mold him into a great player, and hes going to ride the pine behind Fisher and Rush all year once Kobe gets back... drop him... like Wallace, who will ride the pine all year, the Kings have hopes as to molding him into a good player, because he has very good athletisicm, he just needs to develop his game... but Carter would not be able to provide anything more than a body to play with in pracice... the Lakers wont keep him next year, so why even bother
