Larry Hughes and Luke Jackson Injury Updates

Cavaliers guard Larry Hughes' fractured right long finger was examined today in Baltimore, Maryland by Dr. Thomas Graham, chief of the Curtis National Hand Center and Dr. Richard Parker, Cavaliers Head Team Physician. The examination confirmed the healing process is still taking place as expected and desired. Larry has also been cleared to gradually resume basketball related activities (shooting, dribbling, passing, catching, etc.) immediately. He has not yet been cleared to resume regular practice. He will be monitored daily and his status will be updated as appropriate. The recovery timeline issued on February 14th (Out 8 to 10 weeks) is still in place.

Cavaliers guard/forward Luke Jackson's broken left wrist is also healing as expected and desired. The recovery timeline established February 9th (Out approximately seven to eight weeks) is still in place. He is currently scheduled to be examined by Dr. Jeffrey Lawton and Cavaliers Head Team Physician Dr. Richard Parker at the Cleveland Clinic this Friday, March 31st. His status will be updated again at that point.

Very nice: so Hughes is practicing now - looks like he'll be back with some time left in the regular season to get his legs
