Oh come on now,Frank if anything should have been blamed for his substitution pattern in the 2nd quarter but im all for fouling when up by 3 with a few seconds left.....we had 3 timeouts after and the pistons had none so it was all in our favor

he was on him for 1 minute, so why even put that down?

LOl. At least you should have saved this post for a loss.GrandKenyon6 said:What the hell was he thinking. First of all, he had Kidd out way too long in the 2nd quarter. Second of all, putting Vince on Billups so Kidd could chase Hamilton was ridiculous. Kidd shut Billups down the whole game and there was no reason to switch. I know Lawrence wanted to contain Rip, but Chauncey is their best and most dangerous player. Putting Carter on him was flat out dumb. Lastly, there was no way he should've fouled so soon in the clock at the end. What happens if we miss a free throw? Then we're only up by 2 with virtually the same clock situation that Detroit had before when we were up by 3. Now they have a chance to win in regulation when the best they had before was to tie. What happens if we miss both free throws? Then we're only up by 1 and all Detroit has to do is get a field goal to win. I don't know about you, but I'd rather be up by 3 with 3.7 seconds left or whatever it was than by 2 with 3 seconds left. Just a bad bad coaching job.
Its Chauncy ****ING Billups, do you understand what he has done this season, WHAT HE DID IN THE 2003-2004 Playoffs AGAISNT US!!! It was the correct move, the pistons had no timeouts remaining, and as long as the nets made their free throws we would win.GrandKenyon6 said:I'd much rather he trust his defense than to possibly put us in a position to lose.

Wright played around 5 1/2 minutes on Hamilton, and he was 0-5 during that stretch.wonka137 said:he was on him for 1 minute, so why even put that down?
We have no defense against the Pistons. The Pistons's starting five are best in the NBA. Each one have the possibility to hit clutch shots. If we play one on one defense against them, we lose. If we play zone defense, we lose. If we double team, Billups will find the open teamate and torch us.GrandKenyon6 said:I'd much rather he trust his defense than to possibly put us in a position to lose.
