As of the current rate of play:

Eastern Conference:

C: Shaq
PF: Jermaine O'Neal
SF: Lebron James
SG: Allen Iverson
PG: Dwyane Wade

Reserves:

Dare I say... Richard Jefferson
Paul Pierce
Ron Artest
Ben Wallace
Gilbert Arenas
Michael Redd
TJ Ford

Snubs: Jason Kidd, Antwan Jamison, Vince Carter, Chauncey Billups, Kirk Hinrich.

Western Conference:

C: Yao Ming
PF: Tim Duncan
SF: Tracy McGrady
SG: Kobe Bryant
PG: Baron Davis

Reserves:

Steve Nash
Kevin Garnett
Shawn Marion
Dirk Nowitzki
Mehmet Okur
Elton Brand
Tony Parker

Snubs: Andrei Kirilenko, Marcus Camby, Pau Gasol, Sam Cassell, Chris Paul.

Carbo, your list is pretty good, but I don't see how you could have Manu Ginobili and Ray Allen on there. Those two have looked terrible so far. I also don't think there will be 3 Nets' players on the all-star team unless NJ is leading the conference.

Because Allen and Ginobili even not playing well are going to get more attention than Brand, AK47, or whoever else. Personally, I'd love to see Randolph on the team if his play keeps up.

Carbo, yea I feel you. I wasn't sure if we were voting on who we thought was going to be on the all-star team or who we wanted on the all-star team. My list was kind of a hybrid of both.

Unlike last year, are McGrady and James going to be counted as Forwards? Considering they've played most of last season and will be playing this season at that position, the league should make them at the Forward position. If that's the case then I can't see Duncan starting as I don't think he's more popular than Garnett. And is Carter going to be a Guard or a Forward?

Eastern Conference All-Star Team
PG Allen Iverson
SG Paul Pierce
SF LeBron James
PF Jermaine O'Neal
C Shaquille O'Neal

Western Conference All-Star Team
PG Baron Davis
SG Kobe Bryant
SF Tracy McGrady
PF Kevin Garnett
C Tim Duncan

Those would be my teams if I had to choose

If you want 5 best players from West on the court, here's the lineup:
C-Yao
PF-Duncan
SF-Garnett
SG-Kobe
PG-TMac

last year, tmac and bron started off listed as guards so thats how they were listed on the ballots since they arent updated during the first half. this year they are both listed as forwards. carter is listed as a sg since jefferson in the sf so he will be voted as a guard.

Anyone who leaves off Paul Pierce from even the reserves is straight up crazy, if it wasnt fan voting he'd be borderline starter at this point.

Pierce has been godly so far. He's played great defense also.
