Has been the stifling defense of Collins. He has shut two elite pfs. Remember Amare Stoudamire had 20 points in his first game back so their was a possibility he could have had a big game. Sheed was completely taken out of his game. Once again Collins contributing his part to help the team to a victory

Boy if we're crediting Collins with the win, we should credit him for shelving Amare for possibly the season, though I think it's more of a mind thing....at least from Kidd's viewpoint. Reportedly, Amare couldn't loosen up the knee all day Sunday and Monday, felt something was going to pull any second.

Collins doesn't shut down players. He uses his body to frustrate post players, keep them from getting to the boards, and holding them out for position. Good IQ. Same with Cliff. Our defense is balanced among the whole team right now. Phoenix had trouble last night and missed plenty of shots. Detroit had that kinda trouble as well. And Dallas. Coincidence? I think not.

Thats rediculus because if Amare was 100% he would be owning Collins. Like Zach Randalph, Chris Bosh, Kevin Garrnet did this season.

Exactly,TWIN is a nice post defender but when he meet a PF who can shoot from outside like Dirk or KG or someone faster like amare, they will cause a lot of problems for him.SHEED case is different because since the guy shot many 3's,if he struggles he own himself.

But Collins is doing a good job, hope he stay healthy.

"Learn the game,Junior"
