Nah, the NBA's already got too many teams as it is. But if there were to be a new team, it's gotta be in Carolina.

They eat, drink, live and breathe basketball up there. Just don't give them a dumb owner.

Didn't the hornets almost move there? I personally don't care that the hornets moved, since we got rid of George Shinn and may get Larry Bird.

Shinn is still with the Hornets, Bird isn't.

Bird is the would be-GM of the expansion team in Charlotte. Stern said all they need is a new arena in Charlotte and he'll give them a team.

Which team? All teams in the NBA right now are doing fine where they are! You don't just get up and move for no reason! Vancouver=Poor Atendance Charlotte=Poor Atendance
My point is that no team needs to move, but the Grizzlies And The Timberwolves have sent in requests to Stern to ask him if they can move to the Eastern Conference, that might shake things up a bit, but Charlotte is already asking for another pro team.

lousiville doesnt need a team, Las Vegas needs a team, if it wasnt for the gambling, the grizzlies would have moved here, but noooooo, a professional sports team is the only thing stopping Las Vegas from being a big time city, all the casinos have to do is drop NBA betting which is somehting liek 1% of all the bets placed in town! stupid stubborn casinos

Louisville needs a team and i am all for it. Anyone remember the old Kentucky Colonels of the ABA? That was a good team!! From what i remember, Kentucky fans supported them. When the ABA merged with the NBA i was very surprised that Kentucky was not one of them teams.

I don't really understand what makes Louisville a better candidate than any other cities that are out there wanting an NBA team.

I don't think Louisville has the market to be in the NBA. Vegas would be a good place, but I don't think a NBA team will be there. I prefer KC, but KC fans are so "bandwagon", and Kansas City is more of a college basketball fan base.
