could one of these players replace Mitch Richmond as our one million dollar veteran exempt player?

granted both players are very much toward the end of their careers but could provide much-needed bench scoring that Richmond did not provide.

Hardaway could provide scoring and penetration to help relieve the double teaming of Shaquille O'Neal. He certainly has a very fiery personality that could be a plus on a very mediocre bench.

What do you mean "could provide much-needed bench scoring that Richmond did not provide." Richmond provided bench scoring, when he was in. He never got to play. Manning is a bad player now, and Hardaway has some knee problems. The Lakers should avoid signing both players.

LA needs guys like Trajan Langdon and Malik Rose, younger guys with energy. We have enough veterans already. Hell, Kobe is already a veteran, and he's 23 years old!

Yeah I agree-except I don't see where Rose will fit in unless we trade Walker or Horry
