L.A. Lakers trades:

SG Kobe Bryant
SG Kareem Rush
PF Stanislav Medvedenko
PF Luke Walton
PF Jamal Sampson

L.A. Lakers receives:

C Jahidi White
Change in team outlook: -3.7 ppg, +1.3 rpg, and -1.7 apg.

TRADE ACCEPTED

*This trade is based on this year's salary. Should they do this in the offseason, this trade could only work if Medvedenko resigned at an identical salary for next year.

Lakers: Should Kobe want to bolt, this may be their best option. LA would receive a budding star in JJ, a young all-star SF in Marion, a 7-foot teenager w/ huge upside in Lampe, and land a bruising C to back up Shaq. The only starter they lose is Kobe.

2004/2005 Lakers (under contract)
PG: Payton, Fisher
SG: JJ, Devean
SF: Marion, Fox
PF: Malone, Cook, Lampe
C: Shaq, Jahidi

This may be a more balanced roster than this year.

Suns: The Suns land a franchise player - Kobe Bryant. They give up JJ, Matrix, and Lampe but it was worth getting this top 5 player. The Suns also get Rush to compete w/ Casey for backup wing PT, Walton to compete w/ Zarko for F minutes, and Jamal to backup the post.

2004/2005 Suns (under contract - if Vujanic arrives)
PG: Barbosa, Vujanic, Eisley
SG: Bryant, Rush
SF: Casey, Walton
PF: Amare, Zarko, Medvedenko
C: Voskuhl, Sampson

It's possible! :D

What you think Lakernation?

Agreed. Instead of giving up 2 of their best player they will wait and try to sign him. Would be a great trade for the Lakeshow though.

To me, a trade like this will never happen in reality, only on my NBA Live dynasty. :D
