Out pitching Justin Verlander in the second-half of the 2010 season and showing he had all the makings of a dominate number two. Scherzer started 6-0 before losing his first game in 2011, then the wheels fell off. Scherzer would win only nine more games the rest of the year, finshing with a 15-9 record and a 4.43 ERA.
