Medical reason for TC's slow start?

Chandler finds stamina: After gasping for breath on the court for three weeks, Tyson Chandler finally saw a doctor on Monday and was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia. That condition is defined as when the stomach pushes through the opening where the esophagus passes through the diaphragm.

“I kept on wondering why I was getting winded so early,” Chandler said. “That’s why I was breathing hard all the time and couldn’t get any oxygen.”

Doctors scoped Chandler’s throat and prescribed medicine. Now Chandler said he feels better every day.
So it wasn't all mental.

Hope this isn't something to be worried about. I remember he had some esophagus condition at the end of the 03-04 season. In any case, it's good to see him getting back on track. He looked great against the Spurs last night.

I wonder if Mrs. Chandler had anything to do with it :devil2:
