3 Cavs?
West bench looks decent, not sure 'bout Allen though 'cuz he was injured for quite some time. But your East needs work...

East revised:
Artest
Davis
Kidd
Redd
Magloire/Z
Pierce
Marbury/Reef/K-Mart?

If Jerry Sloan coached Cavs, Cavs would win 50 games this season.

Only one Cav for me, no RayRay cause he's only played in 19 games, no Starbury because he hasn't played much with the Knicks. Anyway to my reserves:

East:
F - Ron Artest
F - Kenyon Martin
C - Jamaal Magloire
G - Michael Redd
G - Baron Davis
G - Paul Pierce
G - LeBron James

West:
F - Peja Stojakovic
F - Pau Gasol
F - Antoine Walker
C - Shaquille O'Neal
C - Brad Miller
G - Sam Cassell
G - Andre Miller

Going with the thread title, this is who I think will be there, not who I think should be there. IR = first player at each position that I think would be called up to replace an injury.

East
F: Kenyon Martin
F: Ron Artest
C: Jamal Magloire
G: Baron Davis
G: Jason Kidd
G: Paul Pierce
G: Michael Redd
IR: Zyldrunas Ilgauskas (C), Shareef Abdur-Rahim (F), Lebron James (G)

West
F: Peja Stojakovic
F: Pau Gasol
F: Dirk Norwitzki
F: Elton Brand
C: Shaquille O'Neal
G: Sam Cassell
G: Gary Payton
IR: Brad Miller (C), Zach Randolph (F), Mike Bibby (G)

Actually I was going to put in Kidd, but I think K-Mart should be in it too, and I don't think two Nets should be playing in the game, especially considering their record and how they've played all season. Not putting in Kidd is tough, but who am I gonna replace him with? It's tight.

Why do some of you put guys on the team that have not even played that much? Shaq's doesnt even qualify in ppg. Ray Allen is great but he hasnt played either. I dont think Elton Brand qualifies as well. This should be about this season. Dont pull a Vince Carter.

East:
Pierce - G
Redd - G
James - G/F
B. Davis - G
Artest - F
Abdur-Rahim - F
Z - C (wasted pick)

West:
Cassell - G
Maggette - G
Stojakovic - F
Randolph - F
Nowitzki - F
Kirilenko - F
B. Miller - C

[strike]Are you dumb or are you dumb?[/strike] The 2nd best PF in the east (who isn't considered a center by the NBA ballots) is definately K-Mart.

No attacks -- keep things civil please.

to be an ALL-STAR, Booz needs to score a bit more consistenly. You cant give it to him from a few games. Maybe next year. Abdur-Rahim is still better than Boozer.

West

Sam Cassell - G
Ray Allen - G
Elton Brand - F
Zach Randolph - F
Shaquille O'Neal - C
Brad Miller - C
Peja Stojakovic - F

East

LeBron James - G/F
Paul Pierce - G/F
Stephon Marbury - G
Jason Kidd - G
Shareef Abdur-Rahim - F
Baron Davis - G
Ron Artest - G/F

Sheesh, that would leave the East without even one center (Ben Wallace isn't really a center). But Ilgauskas isn't more talented than any of those players.

Boozer?...What the freg? Both K-mart and Abdur-Rahim are way better than him...and I find that Odom, Juwan Howard, or even Donyell Marshall is better than Boozer!

50 wins? Not this again.

You lunacy never ceases to amaze me.

Point blank, no, they wouldnt be a 50 win team if they had ALL top 5 coaches coaching them. Your such a homer when it comes to the cavs and its not even funny anymore.

P.S. Silas is one of, if not the best coach a developing young talent, which is what the cavs are, young and talented.

I replaced Jamaal Magliore with Lamar Odom. Who needs an eastern conference center anyway?

I replaced Ron Artest with Stephon Marbury. I wanted to go with Marbury all along but I figured I had too many guards.

This definately will not be the roster that's selected, but these are the guys that I'd select.

Oh, come on, now. Let's say the top five all time are Red Auerbach, Phil Jackson, Pat Riley, John Wooden (hey, he's a great coach!), and, oh, let's just toss in Larry Brown.

You're saying that they couldn't each be 10-win coaches for the Cavs? Adding that up, since they're all on the team together, that would be 50 wins.

You know it's true. Booyakasha.

Bottom line is that Silas is the best coach the Cavs could have brought in. Van Gundy would have been a terrible fit. Carlisle just as bad. Larry Brown wasn't coming to Cleveland, nor would he have done much diffrent from Silas.

Paul Silas is gangsta. I like what he's done with the Cavs. And I think most people following the team like what he's done.

half the people here are forgetting about dirk nowitzki. the best pure shooter 7 feet or taller. he also has the 7th highest efficiency above randolph and gasol. dirk is better than both of them anyway. his numbers have dropped because of jamison and walker but he is still an all-star.
