Alston CassellMINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves can extend their home winning streak to eight games on Saturday when they conclude a three-game homestand against the Miami Heat at the Target Center.
The Timberwolves have won seven consecutive home games since losing to the Golden State Warriors here on December 9. They are 11-5 at home this season to go with the league's second-best road record.
Minnesota moved a season-high 12 games over .500 with a 96-75 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday.
