TV: WFOR-CBS4 – Eric Reid and Mike Fratello
Radio: WIOD 610 AM (Mike Inglis), WBZT 1230 AM, WACC 830 AM (Jose Paneda, Spanish Radio)
Series Notes: The HEAT defeated the Cavaliers 88-83 in the team’s first meeting this season at the AmericanAirlines Arena after Eddie Jones netted 25 points in the game. The win lifted the HEAT’s all-time record over Cleveland to 32-24 overall and 20-9 in Miami. Cleveland has won four of the last eight meetings with the HEAT including a 15-12 mark at home. Miami’s last win in Cleveland came on Jan. 21, 2002, when the HEAT escaped with a 95-93 win. Last season the HEAT fell 74-72 at Cleveland.
The Cavs must be the only team that everybody thinks they are supposed to beat. Well this Cavaliers team is a bit better than the one that lost to Miami at the beginning of the season. With trades for Battie, Williams, Brown and McInnis this team is not only tougher but more consistent and is far less prone to just throwing the ball away. Miami has been playing well of late having won 3 in row, as have the Cavaliers who have won 4 out of the last 5. I think that the difference will be that this game is in Cleveland. I expect the Cavs to win 95-85.
