What a fun game to watch!

Andre Miller scored a career-high 52 points, including 25 in the fourth quarter and overtime, and Juwan Howard hit a jumper with 44.8 seconds left to lift the Portland Trail Blazers past the Dallas Mavericks 114-112 Saturday night.

Miller was 22 of 31 from the floor and hit 7 of 8 from the foul line as the Blazers snapped a three-game losing streak.

Portland scored the final six points, including Miller's layup that tied the game at 112. On the Blazers' next possession, Howard connected on a 15-foot jumper that gave Portland a 114-112 lead.

That shot he hit over Marion in the closing seconds of regulation wasn't going in. Then I remembered that Miller had like 43 then so I knew the ball would find a way to roll in.

Was that the hook shot? It looked far right, but he must have had some english on it! What's amazing is he got 52 and only hit one 3, him hitting a three is pretty unusual, and only shot 8 FTs making 7. Usually someone scores that much they hit a lot of 3s or a lot of FTs.
