Which one of these guys surprised you the most with their stats so far this season? I'd probably say Al Thornton, had no idea he could be that good. Its not like he's on a team when he has to do any and everything, he has Kidd, Mobley, and you can even add Chris Kaman to that as well. He could very well be the best rookie out there....

And if I missed some pretty good surprising starts post them.

I would say that Thornton is a huge surprise. I expected him to put up those numbers in 2-3 seasons but not right away, and especially not w/ all the other scorers he's playing with.

J.R. Smith is also somewhat of a surprise because he's playing with Iverson and Melo. He's statline is also uncharacteristically balanced.

Sheed is playing MVP like right now, which is crazy.

Not to surprised by Big Al, he's a beast.

Wade playing so well at point guard sort of surprised me too, 25/10 is very nice for a shooting guard playing the point guard position.
