I kind of like having only four people in the contest. 8 people is a little too much for me. There woould be too many repeat dunks, there simply aren't enough dunk ideas to go around. Also, IMO there aren't 8 GREAT dunkers in the league today ( in terms of dunk contest ability).

Dropping the 3 year rule and cash incentives are both good ideas though. But a quick thought to that. Small cash incentives would mopst likely appeal to players with 3 years of experience or less because their salaries would most likely be very small ( 3-4 mil at the absolute max). A guy like Fred Jones or Jeff Trepaignier (spelling?) would really need the cash, whereas Vince Carter wouldn't give a damn.
