The Lakers are not going to take Juan Dixon. Tayshaun Prince will be available and they will take him. Dixon will be a 2nd round pick. There are doubts about his size. If he does go in the 1st round, it'll be to the Nets.
I agree with Mr. X, the last thing the Lakers need a little speedy guard. They need as much size as possible because Samaki just isn't cuttin' it....
Malik Rose???

Maybe Malik Rose would fill the spot?

Diaw pulled out.

The signs are the player draft position change from my last mock draft (Edition 2)

Sorry took me a little bit to come up with a smart (_____) comment.

Why not? Kobe's a bum, so Juan Dixon could start at SG. :grinning:
I hate when people are drama queens.... I never said Kobe was a bum or not a great player. I have said he is great, a top 10 player in fact...

This is frustrating....

I am a big Jazz fan and Jazz management is desperate to draft a shooting guard in this year's draft. According to the mock draft, Jiri Welsch is predicted to go 20th. If Jiri Welsch is available to the Jazz when the 19th pick comes up, the Jazz will take him in a heartbeat.

He won't be. If he is there at #17 (and Rush is off the board), he will become a New Orleans Hornet.

You are absolutely right. I know that New Orleans really likes Jiri Welsch and would take him if he is available at #17. I know it is wishful thinking to think that Jiri Welsch will be available when it's the Jazz's turn to pick (at #19). That's why I hope the Jazz will make a trade (maybe Philadelphia at #16) and try to get Jiri Welsch, but the Jazz have never traded up in the draft before and knowing Jazz management and Larry Miller, we will stick with the 19th pick and once again, the Jazz will be weak at the Shooting Guard position and the Jazz will be exposed to their lack of outside shooting.
butler

wont drop that far

lakers could take fred jones which would move kobe to 3 so he would not have to gaurd real fast players
I would LOVE for it to happen, but I DONT see Butler falling to the Heat at #10!

I really didn't intend on that happening. But, when I put Wilcox going 5 to the Nuggets it fell like a dominoe effect.

I've heard Tsit has promises to go top 6, so I had to put him going to the Cavs.

New York and LA Clippers do not need SF type players.

Phoenix has Marion, think they'd be better off going with Amare.

Sekularac has been rising. He has great shooting skills. Jiri fits in well with the Hornets too, but with this draft I decided to go a different way.
