I had a fantasy draft recently with 6 participants. We start two running backs per week. Because of my friends' stupid homerism and obvious lack of fantasy knowledge, I have:

Priest Holmes
Shaun Alexander
Jamal Lewis

as my running backs. My dilemma is which two to start in week one. Priest was the first pick of the draft, so I want to start him every week. The problem is that Shaun is up against the Saints who have looked horrible stopping the run in the preseason. Jamal is playing the Browns who he torched for 500 yards and 5 TDs in two games last year.

Who should I start?

OMG, I feel that you have the 1, 2, and 3 best fantasy players going into this season (with Deuce Mcnasty's TD's going up which I think will happen, he might be there too and Ahman of course). Just start the most favorable matchups and sit back and gloat

In case you were wondering how this happened...

I had the first pick and took Priest. The next picks went:

2) Michael Vick
3) Peyton Manning
4) Deuce MacAllister
5) Ahman Green
6) Clinton Portis

Second Round:

7) Steve McNair
8) Dante Culpepper
9) Randy Moss
10) Corey Dillon
11) LaDainian Tomlinson

Then me:

12) Shaun Alexander
13) Matt Hasselback

14) Marvin Harrison
15) Tom Brady
16) Donovan McNabb
17) Edgerrin James
18) Baltimore Ravens

Fourth Round:

19) Terrell Owens
20) Torry Holt
21) Tony Gonzales
22) Tom Brady
23) Trent Green

And me:

24) Jamal Lewis
25) Brett Favre

LT at 11, Corey D went before him

McNair at 7

S Alex 12
E James 17

Give these guys a cheat sheet or something.

But there's nothing wrong with that, people bring their football knowledge to the drafts whatever level it may be, I went to my first draft with nothing but beer money but still won the championship. Plus with FF, injuries always make such a difference, there's really no telling.

Plus with so few teams, RB's like Kevin Jones, Thomas Jones, Chris Brown, Duce Staley will fall deep in the drafts and could end up being top 10 backs

LT at 11? Can I get into this league? I'd love to "compete" against a bunch of morons. :whoknows:

Why is it a 6 team league?
Cause there are 6 of us.

I can't believe no one thinks I should start Shaun Alexander. Last year against the Saints he rushed for 108, caught for 51, and scored two touchdowns. Also, the Saints defense has looked horrible in the preseason (especially against the run).

I have Shaun Alexander on both of my fantasy teams as he was the best available in one league for the first round *14-18 teams both leagues dk cuz they yahoo publik. But and then in the other beause I missed the first 5 rounds. Right now it looks like I'm gonna win in both leagues.

Donovan McNabb looked like the prized fantasy player of this week though.
