The new Nuggets forward is spearheading something of a basketball revolution in his homeland. The inaugural Eduardo Najera Basketball League starts next week with 12,256 boys and girls ages 12-18 registered in three age groups throughout the country. Najera's goal is to have 30,000-40,000 kids playing within two years.

"It's a first-year project, and we're doing it out of our heart," he said. "We're not seeing it as a business; we're seeing it as helping somebody. No one really helped me when I was a kid. I'm trying to change that."
The Nuggets have some great guys on the team that use their wealth to give back to various communities.
