Steve Nash, who had not lost to Jason Kidd since Phoenix traded Kidd to New Jersey in 2001, was held scoreless in a game for the first time since he rejoined the Suns. The last time he didn't score came on Feb. 1, 2003, when he played only 16 minutes against Denver. Nash recently called Kidd his toughest matchup and Kidd's defense, which has shut down Chauncey Billups, Gilbert Arenas and Jason Terry of late, was flawless.

"I think the point (and) the leader of the team should take responsibility for what happens out there," Nash said after New Jersey's biggest win since 2002. "I definitely have to do a job of getting guys in the right spot, making sure we are playing the right way. We have to do it together, but obviously I have the ball in my hands. I have to speed that process up."
