Bad officiating has always been a part and always will be a part of the game, because these refs are not robots and I am sure Kobe and his Lakers have had thier fair share of bad calls go their way.
Not when one of those calls DECIDES the game, especially through drastic inconsistency. Get the hell out of here.ralaw said:Bad officiating has always been a part and always will be a part of the game, because these refs are not robots and I am sure Kobe and his Lakers have had thier fair share of bad calls go their way.
I've seen games called to decide games way worse than that. The MAMBA said:Not when one of those calls DECIDES the game, especially through drastic inconsistency. Get the hell out of here.
And those are just as bad. BTW, I am having a hard time uploading that NBA on NBC file. I got it through limewire. How do I upload it onto yousendit ?Hairy Midget said:I've seen games called to decide games way worse than that.
Go to yousendit.com, you don't need to fill anything in, just hit browse. Find the folder where the file is in, click the file, and hit "send it." It will take a minute to upload then give you a link to copy and paste either onto here or you can email to me.The MAMBA said:And those are just as bad. Even if you're a Laker fan or not, you would have to agree that if this kind of officiating continues...it has to be stopped. Because one way or another, if these type of actions are overlooked then the same worst officiating may be called on everyone's favorite team....again it hurts the game and the NBA loses its credibility to provide a accurate and in the process loses its wholesome atmosphere for its fanbase.Hairy Midget said:I've seen games called to decide games way worse than that.
The refs are human of course but what Dan Crawford did to the Los Angeles Lakers wasn't. Singlehandedly he assisted the Cavaliers in beating the Lakers by offering an unfair advantage due to the power the boys in black wield over the game's outcome.
At first he was calling touch fouls on the Cavs, to help build the lead to 15. Then for some reason he lets all contact on Kobe Bryant go who was being fouled repeatedly around the basket, in the mere interest of a close game, so it can be marketed as a "thriller" on nba.com. This facade is useless and is only killing the game in the long run. As I like to say, a visible ref is never a good one. Please fix this problem before I punch a hole through the wall.

i'm sure they care about a hole in your wallsherako said:What I'm doing is sending an e-mail to the league; here is the url to do that

Sounds epic lolWTChan said:It's been like this since the dawn of time.
I think their was one real obvious was when Kobe got trapped he got mugged. The other ones I thought they were real good defense. But that one they missed big time.KOBEDUNKEDONSHAQ said:Refs will miss calls, their humans....but in games like some calls are just obvious and they dont blow a whistle, it just hurts the overall quality of the game and as a fan even if you're team is getting away with calls it just makes it unbearable to watch
sherako said:I tried to respect them but they haven't earned it. Dan Crawford, in this last Laker game singlehandedly won the game for the Cleveland Cavaliers, by not giving Kobe Bryant the free-throws he worked so hard to earn. Total BS. What people don't understand is, the no call on the offensive end affects them defensively, as Kobe is left shaken by the call which results in Flip Murray going for layup after layup since he realizes there are only four Lakers upcourt. Then Kobe gets a clean swipe on Flip, but he gets the whistle. I'm thinking about writing the NBA office in protest of the refs making themselves bigger than the game. All they have to do is call it right and they can't even do that
