Yeah, I'm glad the games that are getting bumped are on 9. Last year when they got put on WLNY55 I couldn't watch them.
Nets being on WWOR-Channel 9 is a great thing
For those of you who are pissed about Nets playoff games being bumped off of YES, consider this...
WWOR is an over the air, local network that will give the Nets far more exposure than any game on YES possibly could. Being on Channel 9 means Nets games will be seen by many people who either:
A. Dont have YES
B. Have basic cable
C. Those without cable or Sattelite (Still about 20% of NY DMA households)
This is a great thing...to be on a low numbered channel in the NY area in primetime...
How could anyone be pissed about this? At least we are not on WLNY-55 this year..which was a great move by Yormark. He made sure that Nets fans would be able to see the games that were bumped off of YES.

Would be better if we got to keep the pre and post game shows. Particularly the post game show.

This is awesome! I was going to 'pay a visit' down at YES Central, but now I think I'll stay at home and watch the games on Channel 9 - which to me will ALWAYS be WOR.
I just saw a commercial for it so Ill get it.

This is phenominal!!! I get to see the game tomorrow. I just checked on my Guide Channel and WWOR is playing it. Does anyone know if they will show all the Nets games from now on intil the playoffs on WWOR9?

And that includes playoff games, so you can watch some of those, too.
Much better than last year, when I had to invade a quasi-friend's house who had satellite, sit in his basement amongst kiddie toys, while overhearing his wife say, "How long is HE going to be here" just to watch the final Raptor and Celtic games in their playoff runs on Channel whatever it was from Hoboken.
By the way, it was worth it. Those were great games.
