Great article from foxsports.com.

Maybe the Eastern Conference isn't a two-team race after all.

To be sure, the road to the NBA Finals will go through Detroit, where the Pistons have won the conference the past two seasons. And certainly with Shaquille O'Neal and Dwyane Wade as their two pillars of strength, the Miami Heat will be right in the faces of the Pistons, as they were a year ago.
But the hottest team in the NBA right now would be the New Jersey Nets.
