I say smoke screen as energy-types elimates Josh Boone and Hilton Armstrong.
hmmm, I don't see it that way at all. Of course, we'll never know what he meant, or whether there is a hidden agenda, but I interpret "energy type guys" as players who, said simply, contribute more by doing the ittle things than by scoring. He could mean a fast break/pass first PG like Dee Brown, or he could mean a big in the mold of Brian Scal (who I'm guessing could be described as an "energy-type guy."). Obviously I would hope that the Nets could be more successful than Veal, but you could perhaps consider Boone as an "energy guy"--he scraps for every rebound and works hard on defense. Dee Brown and Josh Boone. I could live with that.

With the exception of Zoran, when was the last time people actually knew what Thorn and Co. were up to in regards to the draft?
Two years ago, it was an open secret that the Nets were trying to sell their pick.

Boone never looked like he was playing with much energy this past season.
Based on the limited number of times I watched UConn, I'd have to disagree.

You must have confused Hilton Armstrong with Josh Boone, although they look nothing alike. Not that Hilton played with a ton of energy.
. . . or perhaps I subconsciously used Jason Collins as my baseline, which would make a snail like energetic.
