The Nets are reportedly shopping Kieth Van Horn, etc... for a consistent low post threat. They really want to get Antonio McDyess from Denver. In hopes of getting him they would have to convince the Nuggets organization that McDyess would opt out of his contract after next year and leave thme with nothing. McDyess would be a great fit in New Jersey. He is friends with Jason Kidd. They should draft Casey Jacobson and Jannero Pargo.

i guess that sound good to me. i read somewhere that the nets don't want to get rid of van horn because they're worried that getting rid of anyone will displease kidd. but like you said, mcdyess is friends with kidd, and rod thorn did say that he would do anything to keep kidd in jersey.

A fit and healthy McDyess would add so much more to the Nets than Van Horn ever could. Despite Kidd's feelings, he would have to see that this move would benefit the team greatly.

Imagine the Nets with a legitimate inside presence???

For one I hope Kidd stays. Two McDyess is not the only one Kidd wants when he got traded he said that he would also like Shawn Marion, great rebounder plus also a friend from the Suns.

i think that they should trade keith or kerry for derick anderson form the trailblazer he wouuld run up and down the floor with martin and jefferson well and he has an all around game remeber how good he played with the spurs just think if he could bring that to the net how much that would be a big lift.

Van Horn

Who could they get for Van Horn? Plus, Kenyon Martin has shown that he is a low post threat. And if Kenyon gets the ball enough, he will be able to score 20ppg. If they trade Van Horn, they need to get a SF that is an outside threat. Or get a couple of good bench players, and start RJ at SF.

Just a couple of games, maybe a game Martin has a decent impact on the post doesn't mean he is a threat that actually can draw double teams on a consistent basis.

Dice is proven to be able to draw some attention at least in the post. But having said that, you think the presence of Dice will hurt Jason's game a bit?

The thing with K-Mart is that he has been asked to attack the basket more kidd said something like "If I ever play in another game with you, in which you take 6 shots I will take you down personaly" and since then K-Mart has been taking it to the hoop.

that's true. i heard about that too. i think k-mart's gonna continue to improve (especially if kidd stays in jersey).

well, right now, van horn might/might not get traded. the nets are really looking into what to do.

I still think that they would be better to get an outside scorer. After Kidd challenged Martin, he had 2 great games. Don't just say that they were "flukes" because this guy can play, and if given the chance, he can lead a team in scoring, and shoot a good percentage. And he did draw double teams, Shaq kept having to go help Robert Horry, because they couldn't handle Martin. And Robert Horry is one of the best PF defenders in the game.

Now here is a true Champion. Our nets lost and he still gives us confidence for one of our players, he doesn't shove it in our face.

but, yeah, netsfan30, van horn will more likely be traded than kittles.

and the kidd/k-mart duo should be really fun to watch come regular season. i think kidd is going to push k-mart to play his best.

If Kidd can motivate/push K-Mart into being a better player then he will never be out of buisiness. They also need another scorer, I don't know what happened to van Horn, maybe they should consider having him on the bench and then he might get better...
