I'm makin the roster changes and I'm gonna play some Blazers-Lakers, 5 min qtrs, Superstar level, on my NBALive2004 PlayStation2 game.

I will update you as to how it goes. Already, I noticed that Shareef has a much lower Overall Rating than Sheed. Ugh.

So after 1 qtr, the Lakers lead 22-16.

Reefer is wearing #4. Good question. What number will he wear since Damon already wears his #3?

Kobe Bryant leads the Lakers with 11 pts.

Ratliff and Randolph lead the Blazers with 6 pts each.
Randolph lead us in rebounding with 4.
Damon is our leading assist guy with 2.

On to the second qtr.

At HALF, the Lakers lead 47-34.

Dickau, Ratliff, and Randolph lead the Blazers with 8 points each.

Randolph still leads the Blazers with 4 rebounds.

Damon still leads the Blazers with 2 assists.

Kobe Bryant leads the Lakers with 26 pts.

Ratliff has one block.

Shareef Abdur Rahim= 2 pts (1-8 FGs), 3 rebs

Go Blazers

This is a disaster. These guys still need time to jell, I think.

After three, Lakers lead 69-45.

Randolph has 10 pts, 6 rebs.

Kobe Bryant 30 pts.

On to the 4th!

Game over. Lakers win 79-63. Granted, it was at Staples and I had never played with this unit before.

Kobe Bryant was Player of the Game with 30 points.

Reefer never really came alive til garbage time. In the first three qtrs, he missed TONS of really easy shots in the paint.

Trader Bob- My starting line-up was Damon, DA, SAR, Zach, Theo. My second unit was Dickau, Woods, Miles, SAR, Dale. But in the second half, I went with Ruben at the 2 in the second unit and even tried some Miles at PF with Outlaw at SF.

The final stats for the Blazers:

Abdur Rahim- 16 pts (8-20 FGs), 4 rebs

DA- 11 pts

Ratliff- 10 pts, 8 rebs, 2 blks, 1 steal

Randolph- 10 pts, 6 rebs, 2 assts

Dickau- 10 pts, 1 asst

Miles- 6 pts, 2 rebs (one, a viscious put back slam), 2 blks, 1 asst

Damon- 3 rebs, 2 assts, 1 steal, 0 turnovers

Dale Davis- 2 rebs, 1 blk, 1 steal

Outlaw- 3 rebs, 1 blk

Ruben and Q did nothing at all. Step did not play.

You can get updated rosters through the internet. I don't know if they updated it as recently as Cook yet or not. I didn't check.

I just lost again but played better. Lakers won 78-73. Abdur-Rahim had 28 pts. We rallied from 23 down to cut it to three but Payton hit two FTs to wrap it up.

Down the stretch, we were better with Miles at SF, Reefer at PF, and Z-Bo ridin the pine.
