N.O. 1-14 against Southwest opponents

Full Article

"I felt coming in this was the toughest division in basketball," said Hornets forward P.J. Brown. "But I don't think any team in this division went through what we did this year, with injuries and players not wanting to be here, trades. . . . No team has been through what we've been through.

"So it's been a tough year. But even if everything would have been aligned right, it was still going to be a tough division to compete in and battle in."

It is really hard for us, coming straight from the eastern conference into this division...and then all the injuries which costed us Baron Davis... only brigth sight of this season is J.R. Smith, our future! And it's nice to see how the bench players develope from game to game!

"Scott will start West tonight in place of Brown, and Claxton in place of Dan Dickau and Bostjan Nachbar for Lee Nailon."
Just read this...Any reason for that?

probably because west and claxton both have fresh legs, and i'd have to guess after boki's nice couple games and the fact their going against his former team he might wanna show him off. P.j. has played one hard season this year, theres no gettin around it, and dan has as well.

Well West has really been hustling out there as of late, he hasnt got tremendous results, but at least hes been trying more than Rogers.

Dan has been struggling with his shot a bit, and even if he doesnt start..he will still come off the bench an play jus as much as Speedy normally does

Boki has been playing lights out as of late. Playing great off the bench earned him a starting spot..at least for now.

Mabye this is a preview of next year...

PG-Speedy/Dan
SG-JR
SF-Boki
PF-West/Draft pick
C-Magloire (if he stays around)

But the lineup should include PJ Brown, he is just such a solid player!

At least we won't go winless in our division. We picked up two wins now. The lineup change is kind of an "audition" for those players who are free agents or have been injured. Management has to see if Boki and Speedy are should be signed to new contracts. We all know what Dan can do so they can bring him off the bench. West has been injured and they need to see his progress and how he can help the team with all these new players.
