Greg Oden is a MAN. he had 4 blocks in 6 minutes. Also Thadeus Young looks really smooth offensively.
only like 4 points right? boring game means nothing anymore
that Budinger kid goin to ARZ is gonna be sick...but yeah way boring game though

also, that Collins guy goin to Kansas is gonna be special too...he is from chicago but plays like a classic NY PG (i see him as a smaller version of Krauser)

That kid is fast and quick, looks like telfair speed.
wow the east got dumped! 20 points! geez you would think oden's team would ahve done better
Oden looks incredible. Body-wise, he's like a David Robinson clone. Perfect center body, tall and well-built without being either a rake or fat.

He moves well, has soft hands to catch passes and he has great athleticism. He seems to be as sure of a thing as you can have in high school. He could probably contribute in the NBA today. He's not going to be a project.

I gotta say I was impressed, too, and I had high expectations. I wish his wrist hadn't been dinged up so we could have seen more of him.

I loved the way he ran the floor, his defensive timing, and how he looked shooting his free throws. He looks like the absolute real thing.

It's going to be enough to make me watch a lot of OSU basketball next year, I have a feeling.

Want to translate that to english so we can understand it? :clown:
are steroids the reason why high schooler such as Lebron and Oden look so much older and physically developed???? that is his question i believe

my answer- no...if monitered correctly, the dietary advantages possible today are one of the main reasons along with the invcredible work ethic possessed by these rare few (i would say only three can be put in this group- Oden...LeBron...Amare) dwight howard was pretty damn skinny his rookie yr so i would leave him out

Yea another guy who looks old is Steven Jackson of Indiana. Came out of high school looking like he was 25 easy. Roids? Maybe. I don't know if they test high schoolers, and considering most high schools don't have the budget for roid testing, (expensive test) I doubt it.

I saw a game of his on my INHD channel thru Comcast about a month ago (I think it might of been a game from his junior year), and I too was impressed with his free throw shooting. Most big guys cant seem to hit free throws anymore, so its especially nice to see a young guy like shoot well from the stripe.

I also think that its just a sign of the times. I see high school kids in my neighborhood etc. that look older than mysfelf and my friends did when we where in high school. (especially the girls ;) )
its funny; but i attribute it to what chemicals are in our food and water supply......growth hormones that type of crap...
really does wonders to young developing bodies...
espn recap

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/recruiting/news/story?id=2389942

the co-MVPs and of course Oden impressed me... Durant has unbelievable length and is so fluid for a 6'10 guy. Arizona's recruit Budinger has a nice all around game and seemed to really have a feel for the game.

There were some other decent bigs and quite a few high flying wings... a pretty impressive class IMO
