I thought Vaughn was sign via next season. Do you live in atlanta? If so, how does fans there like Jacque T. Vaughn? WHen he was a player at Kansas, he was like God.

Re-sign Vaughn and working on giving JT his extension are the 2 most important things for management this summer.
I don't expect much from the draft, Atlanta doesn't draft, historically, very well. I'd be happy if a shooting SF dropped like Tayshaun Prince.

I agree, I think they should resign Vaughn. I am glad that some people think the Hawks should re-sign Vaughn. Many posters who I argued with think that Vaughn is bad. Well, Jacque is a very quality good backup.Originally posted by PacerMan

Jacque is a free-agent this summer, and I don't think the GM has re-signing him as a very big priority. Which is a big mistake.

Jacque Vaughn is great backup , especially for his value. He does not have a big contract, like many other backup point guards like him. I believe if he signs the same contract he will be a very good backup for the team.

Vaughn has no skills and can't make a jumpshot if his life depended on it! Didn't he last year miss 20+ FG attempts in a row?!

The streak was the beginning of the season then he totally turn around by end of season.
If he is playing in the NBA and played for a D1 powerhouse, he must have skills and a jumpshot. He is more of a leader, assist, and defend. those are his strenghs. Just watch. Several teams want him, so he must be doing something :laugh: :laugh:
