Milwaukee has dropped seven straight for the first time in something like seven years.

They are also 6-23 against Western Conference teams, although they are 20-15 at home on the season, pretty strong given their overall record.

We've lost four of five ourselves, so someone's futility will end tonight.

Jason Williams, Stromile Swift and James Posey did not participate in practice Thursday. Williams attended but sat out because of an undisclosed condition. Posey is still recovering from a bruised right hip. Swift received a cortisone shot in his left ankle. Williams is expected to play while Posey and Swift are questionable. The Grizzlies are 8-9 all-time against the Bucks, including a 3-5 mark on the road. Aside from poor rebounding, three-point shooting continues to be a problem for the Griz. They've shot 19.6 percent from beyond the arc over the past three games.

Williams' starting tonight could be in question. I've heard from some fans he's had a rift with Fratello lately. :raised_ey

The key thing here for the Grizz is to not go into this game thinking it will be a victory. Right now, they are tied for the 7th spot in the West and regardless of if they have to play Phoenix or San Antonio, they are going to have to start playing better basketball. The Bucks are losing, but they are still playing hard and can be difficult to beat at the Bradley. Hopefully the players realize the significance of this game with Minnesota still sniffing around the 8th spot. The Grizz have to keep winning and need to get back on track. Hopefully it starts tonight.

Bucks have the early lead 13-12 with 4:23 left in the first.

Pau scores with relative ease over Joe Smith.

Battier's snagging a few rebounds here and there and just nailed a three from the corner. He's developed into one of the better spot three-point shooters in the league this year.

Burks is playing terrific with four points, two assists, a rebound, a steal and a block. I really like how he gels with this team.
