"I'm expecting to play," Noah said. "My foot feels a lot better. I'm not 100 percent. But it feels better than it did a couple weeks ago when I was playing.

"We'll see (Tuesday) how it feels. Hopefully there's no swelling. I'm not in great shape right now. But I'm trying to get back as soon as I can."

[...]

"Derrick will be able to play," Del Negro said. "Joakim, I'm not sure yet. We're just getting Derrick rest because he's still a little sore. Joakim is better but still not 100 percent. And he probably won't be until the summertime."

Rose said he's playing for sure.

"It's the NBA," he said. "I have to fight through it. We need these games, so I'm going to play."
So Noah and Rose will play. I think that it is ok for Rose, but I hope that it isn't to early for Noah.

It's too early for Noah, officially.

After the Bulls' morning shoot-around, coach Vinny Del Negro said Derrick Rose will play Tuesday night against the Knicks despite a sore right hip and back. But Joakim Noah is almost certain to miss his fifth straight game with plantar fasciitis in his left foot.

And with the Bulls facing four games in five nights, Del Negro confirmed the Bulls have held internal discussions about again shutting Noah down for an extended period of time.

"Yeah, we're going to look at that," Del Negro said. "Give him some more rest for maybe two or three or four or five games. The plantar fasciitis is feeling better. It's not where he'd like it to be. And we want to be smart about it."

At halftime David lee has 14 pts 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal. Why do I bring up Lee? He is a fan favorite of many Bulls fans to be one of the FA we settle for this summer.

Harrington has 11 pts 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal.

Derrick Rose 21 points in a half? 10-12 FG? DAMN! That All-Star game must have boost his confidence big time. His swagger is going through the roof.

On the other hand, the 4 games in 5 nights thing means it's probably a wise thing to do to control Derrick's minute tightly considering his injury. Play Derrick only when necessary. If this Knicks game turns into DARE I SAY a blowout win for the Bulls, better rest him.

The Knicks suck. That said, David Lee is a gamer, the guy play's hard even when the game is pretty much over, hes the only guy on the Knicks who even looked like he cared.

I agree! The rest of them seemed to be going through the motion!

Wonder if DA has them ready for tomrrow.

Awesome win against the Knicks, glad to see Rose destroy the knicks in the first half before putting his feet up for pretty much the rest of the day which was much needed with out schedule over the next few days. Hopefully we'll carry on in New York where we left off in Chicago.

Haha, no kidding!

I watched this game for only 5 minutes in the first half and the Knicks looked just totally disinterested. WTF was up with those crazy dumb passes Gallinari was doing?

And the defense...my gosh, the Knicks were literally stepping out of the way on some of our layups. That's one of the big concerns with David Lee. He just does not challenge shots.

Derrick Rose on the other hand was clearly the best player on the floor, by far.

Even when the Knicks got it close in the second quarter, I never felt the Bulls were going to lose. You probably missed Stacy's Gallinari comment - Gallinari couldn't guard anyone in an empty gym even with a rifle.

The Knicks could have drafted Brandon Jennings. Of all the teams that decided not to take a chance on him, they're the ones who really, really blew it.

Yep, agreed.

Rumor has it they passed on Jennings (and on other PG's) because they wanted to tell Lebron that he'd have the ball in his hands whenever and however he wanted.

This Lebron plan has serious backfire potential, in more ways then one. IMO, it is NOT a good idea to put your team's future on hold for several years for a chance at signing a single player, no matter how great he may be.

David Lee is not as bad as a defender as people think, he doesnt get dominated in the post much, hes just not a very smart perimeter defender. Also, the Knicks offense is all about transition scoring and long range shooting which hurts the defense when those shots dont go down because all the other team has to do is run and score in transition.

David Lee damn good player and I would LOVE to have him on the Bulls.
