I was watching some old NBA games on ESPN Classic, and it was just interesting how bad these players were compared to todays players. Obviously the level of play has increased over time, but what I was wondering is when do you think the level of play became so close to what it is now that the difference is negligible? I for one think that it never has been close and that it will only continue to rapidly ascend due to the worldwide expansion of the game.
