Just shows you how much the situation determines the player. Chris has been this good since the end of his rookie year, he just was never given the chance to showcase his talent on a large scale. But to those that were paying attention, it was as plain as day. It's unfortunate the Nets didn't have the pieces to obtain him.

Currently has 17 and 18 midway through the 3rd. Looking at a 25/25 game.

Why all the Wilcox updates lately?

#1 - We are on a 13 game win streak against some of the elite teams in the league.
#2 - If Thorn got him who knows what it would have done to Krstic's development.
#3 - The Nets have no chance at getting him this summer.

Enjoy your team they are kicking some serious tail.

One of the few trades that was good for both teams. Radmanovic more valuable to the Clippers than Wilcox was. (What was dumb was Baylor drafting Wilcox and Ely at No. 8 and 12 three years ago when Amare Stoudemire and Tayshaun Prince and Nenad Krstic were ALL available.)

#1 - Thorn was trying to get Wilcox for years. That's one reason for the peaked interest.
#2 - Chris is the perfect fit at the 4 for us. There is another reason.
#3 - Wilcox would have helped Krstic's development drastically, not prevented it.

The amount of attention that opposing teams would need to pay towards Chris Wilcox around the hoop would make things much easier on Nenad. Wilcox also is not a guy that demands the ball in the post for the back down. A good amount of his points come from clean-up plays, dunks, and alley-oops. Even so, his post and face-up moves have improved greatly since arriving in Seattle.

if thorn gets me wilcox ill give him $1


imagine wilcox in this lineup? unstoppable. Id say 65 games easily, chip, division title, the whole enchilada. A good 12 and 12 man, wtf!!

I've forgotten some of my thoughts on Wilcox in the past 8 seconds. If only there was a National Basketball Association scout to remind me...

He was just dominant tonight. He didn't just get dunks in transition tonight either...he had some nice moves in the post, a nice 15 foot jumper (maybe more but I missed a lot of the 3rd), got to the FT line. & the rebounds and blocks....he was just EVERYWHERE tonight. The athleticism is a thing of beauty.
